Insulating floors at Akkerstraat and surroundings

In Leiderdorp, we installed a new insulating floor in the living room of 57 homes in the Akkerstraat and the surrounding area.

“The old wooden floors in these living rooms needed to be replaced,” says Richard van Zwet, project manager for existing buildings. “When we started this project, we immediately took the opportunity to make the homes partly sustainable. The new floor installed by Compofloor has a high insulation value. As a result, residents now experience less cold.”

In advance, residents had to empty their living room and store their furniture safely in a container. Housing consultant Wesley: “We looked at each home to see whether the residents were able to do it themselves or whether they needed our help. By offering tailor-made solutions together with the contractor, we were able to limit the nuisance for residents.”
